As many of you have already heard, we are indeed off to London.
And we are happy to announce that...
WE'RE PLAYING GLASTONBURY!!!!!!!!
Our first ever gig in Bangalore took place at the legendary Opus this past Friday. We were received with incredible warmth. It seemed as though we should have played in Bangalore long ago. At first, I was a little skeptical at what the tone of the evening would be, given that everyone at Opus was sitting down, most faces were devoid of emotion (positive or negative alike). The audience was mixed, and very attractive if we may say so ourselves. ;)
In any case, four songs into our set, it was as if everyone in the room had made best friends! Everyone danced with everyone else, some serious psychic communication was tossed around the room through piercing eye contact, and all in all we fell madly in love.
So, we will be in London and Europe for two months, taking LIGHT TRIBE around the world...Look out for our first music video from LIGHT TRIBE on VH1. That's coming soon.

My assocaition wit the band begun 6 months back while switchin thru channels on a lousy work day evenin, at first i thought it was some bollywood garbage as usual on channel v but then i saw randolph playin the guitar, loved the way oops sounded n the way monica danced like a Goddess. Haha!
Immediately went online n checked out ur myspace page, loved ur new sound. Been listenin to the band ever since, every time i read a post on gigpad that u were playing at mumbai i wished for a day u would come down to blore for a gig.
June 20th 08, the day had finally arrived.. read the details abt the gig on a blog n jumped wit excitement.. pleaded all my friends to come but they felt payin 500 bucks for a band they'd never heard was not resonable. I went ahead n booked a table at opus by noon, had a pretty brutal day at work n finally was done wit it by 8 pm. Was feelin a lil low n didnt think i had the spirit then to goto a concert alone.. gave up on the idea almost but then somethin told me that the shows gonna bring me something good n magical.
Finally reached opus at 9pm, waited alone on an empty table, played a few games on my phone like an idiot kinda regrettin my decision of bein there alone n Finally saw u guys arrive at 9:45 n i was all set for the gig, wit my ears n mind wide open.
The moment the sound check finished, i stood up n left the table n stood close to the stage near the coconut tree..
I was a lil skeptical abt how good the band will sound live, but all my doubts were cleared once monica started singing. Guess i was the only person standing when everybody else was sitting on their behinds.. but didnt give a fuck cos wit such great music n energy arnd me, i had to stand n headbang. Honestly i love the way u sing every song wit such earnestness n feeling, love it when u act crazy, wild n sober in the same song.. ur lyrics r brilliant..(totally related to it), the tunes are so haunting.. Awesome energy on stage! Randolphs new avataar is awesome, he's a true wizard! Hahaa! he still held on to the guitar after his strap gave way..
The gig brought in a breadth of fresh air to my mundane life, took away my self imposed barriers n made me see a new light (musically n also in life). Felt so good to feel "Me" again.
